California HSIP Cycle 10

Caltrans has announced the HSIP Cycle 10 call for projects. Applications are due September 4th, 2020 and an informational webinar will be given on Wednesday, May 20th. For more information on the program and to sign up for the webinar, head over to their site at: https://dot.ca.gov/programs/local-assistance/fed-and-state-programs/highway-safety-improvement-program/apply-now.

RoadSafe GIS will be rolling out an update soon for all current users of our Collision Database Management System (CDMS). The update will allow users to see a list of recommended treatments based on their query results that utilize the current values in HSIP Cycle 10. Stay tuned for the next blog post to learn more about the update.

If you are looking for software for all your collision data management and analysis needs, take a look at our Collision Database Management System. Our system provides ongoing support for importing and geocoding the latest collision data and the ability to integrate intersection infrastructure data. This allows you to quickly and easily identify top locations as potential candidates for your HSIP applications. For example, you could generate a list of high collision intersections based on only signalized intersections or restrict your query further and only include pedestrian related collisions. Contact us at info@roadsafegis.com for more information or a demo.
